Success of Our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Students

Our students from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts have achieved great success at the 18th International Istanbul Culinary Days, held from December 22-25, 2021. The competition, organized by the Turkish Chefs and Cooks Federation (TAŞFED) in collaboration with the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (WACS), is Turkey's largest gastronomy event and festival.

Competing in more than 70 categories alongside chefs from Turkey and around the world, our students participated with two teams and earned outstanding recognition. In the "University Level Modern Turkish Cuisine Team" category, they won first place, and in the "Best University Team of the Year" category, they earned second place.

We congratulate our students and supervising faculty members, and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
