GENERAL INFORMATION:
DOUBLE MAJOR / MINOR:
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Students can apply for the second major diploma (ÇAP) program at the earliest at the beginning of the third semester of their major undergraduate program, and at the latest at the beginning of the fifth semester for four-year programs; and at the earliest at the beginning of the second semester, and at the latest at the beginning of the third semester for major associate degree programs.
To apply for Double Major programs, a GPA of 3.00 is required; for Minor programs, a GPA of 2.50 is required. Additionally, candidates applying for the Double Major program must be in the top 20% of their class based on their GPA. However, students who are not in the top 20% of their major program may also apply for the Double Major program if they have a score that is not lower than the base score for that program for that year.
Students can apply for the Minor (YAP) program at the earliest at the beginning of the third semester and at the latest at the beginning of the sixth semester of their major undergraduate program. Students who have successfully completed all credit courses in their undergraduate program up to the semester they are applying for can apply for the Minor program.
The programs that can be pursued for Double Major & Minor, application dates, and quotas will be announced on this page during the application periods. Candidates make their applications online through the system opened on the dates specified in the calendar, and the final registrations are made by the Student Affairs Directorate. The evaluation of the applications is carried out in accordance with the principles and rules determined by the Higher Education Council by the Management Boards of the Faculty/School/Conservatory/Vocational School.
For horizontal transfer to higher education institutions that provide education entirely or partially in a foreign language, candidates must demonstrate their success in the foreign language proficiency exam to be conducted by the relevant higher education institution, or they must document a score at the success level determined by the relevant higher education institution from national or international foreign language exams recognized by the Higher Education Council at the time of application.
To transition from programs where the language of instruction is Turkish to those that are English, candidates must pass the English Proficiency Exam or meet the conditions specified in the Guidelines for the Teaching of Foreign Language Courses.

Due to the directives of the Higher Education Council Presidency, students enrolled through Vertical Transfer cannot pursue Double Major in programs that require "Success Rank."

ÖSYM Result Document: (Including all scores in the YKS/LYS/TYT/AYT/DGS Result Document) Result documents obtained from the ÖSYM website must have a Result Document Control Code. Documents without a control code will be considered invalid.

INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFER BASED ON CENTRAL PLACEMENT SCORE (GANO):
Our university will accept students for the 2024-2025 Fall semester only from universities within the country for Bachelor and Associate degree programs through Institutional Transfer (based on Central Placement Score (GANO)).
For Institutional Transfer to be possible, candidates must meet the conditions specified in the "Regulation on Transfer, Double Major, Minor, and Institutional Credit Transfer between Programs at Higher Education Institutions." Applications from candidates who do not meet the specified conditions will not be evaluated.
