UNESCO Chairs

Founded in 2009, the UNESCO Chair of Philosophy and Human Rights aims to conduct human rights research based on philosophical knowledge at a global level. Its objectives include defining the content of concepts related to human rights, creating and applying laws grounded in these principles, and providing human rights education based on this foundation.

The UNESCO Chair of Gender Equality and Culture began its activities on October 25, 2019. Focusing on the relationship between gender issues and culture, it aims to conduct scientific research and practices at national and international levels, develop projects, engage in educational activities, organize scientific meetings, and collaborate with other chairs within the UniTwin/UNESCO Chairs program.
