Success of Our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Emre Atlıer Olca, a faculty member from the Department of Software Engineering, and our students Fatma Gül Bağıraçık, Mehmet Seven, Rosha Razmafar, and Şafak Atan, as the "Big O One" team, have achieved remarkable success in the MathWorks MiniDrone 2023 competition. This competition, held at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, saw our team secure 1st place in the initial simulation phase, which qualified them for the finals. In the final stage, which hosted nearly 77 teams, they placed 4th overall.

We congratulate our students and Dr. Olca for their exceptional achievement and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
