Success of Our Architecture Department Students

Our students from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Özge Aktürk, Ahmet Yasin Sever, and Özge Yorgancı, have won second place in the "ÇEDBİK Sustainability Ideas Competition 2020," organized by the Green Buildings Association (ÇEDBİK). The competition aimed to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to propose feasible, sustainable, and innovative solutions for an ecological village settlement.

The competition saw the participation of 222 individuals from 44 universities, forming 82 teams. The project proposals were evaluated by a jury consisting of ÇEDBİK members and academics, based on criteria such as feasibility, support for the local region, efficient use of natural resources, adherence to sustainability principles, energy conservation and efficiency, and the use of sustainable materials and techniques.

We congratulate our students for their achievement and thank the faculty members who contributed greatly to their development. We wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
