Information Technology Department

Responsibilities of the Information Technology Department:

To ensure, organize, and develop the use of information and communication technologies within the university.
To design, install, and manage local network and internet services.
To install, manage, and update the servers that serve the university.
To provide services such as email, DNS, DHCP, anti-virus, anti-spam, etc.
To propose the development or acquisition of specialized software needed within the university.
To prepare, manage, and update the websites of the university and its units.
To publish announcements, news, and events.
To provide software and hardware support for all computers assigned to academic and administrative staff and students.
To perform necessary maintenance and updates to ensure the smooth operation of computers in the university library and laboratories.
To prepare the necessary infrastructure and provide technical support during conferences, seminars, and presentations.
To keep track of technology to maximize information technology capabilities.
