The Climate Portal, an online platform showcasing Turkey's efforts to combat climate change, has been launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The Climate Portal features analyses of Turkey's climate change data, including greenhouse gas emissions, temperature variations, and precipitation rates. The portal serves a wide range of stakeholders, including public institutions, academics, the private sector, and individuals. It enables users to follow events such as projects, workshops, and training programs, access data-driven analyses, and contribute to policy development processes.

Furthermore, the portal functions as a comprehensive information resource for diverse stakeholders. Public institutions and policymakers can access the knowledge and resources necessary for developing and implementing climate policies. Academics and researchers can leverage scientific data, reports, and current studies to support their work. The private sector and investors can gain insights into climate finance and investment opportunities in the field of climate change. Civil society organizations and individuals can access materials for awareness campaigns and community engagement efforts.

Through the Climate Portal, users can:

  • Access the "Sectors" section to explore the vulnerability of various sectors to climate change, studies conducted on a national scale, and identified adaptation options.
  • Use the "Library" section to review all relevant studies and query metadata.
  • Engage with interactive tools designed to strengthen climate change mitigation efforts via the "Tools" section.
  • Find detailed information and schedules for national climate change-related activities in the "Calendar" section.
  • Discover projects developed and implemented by various stakeholders at the national level in the "Projects" section.
