University Action Plan
In the context of combating climate change, sustainability efforts are being carried out by relevant units within our university, taking into account the framework regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey. A - As part of the University Action Plan, the "Maltepe University Energy Management Unit Directive" was implemented in accordance with Decision 4 of the 18th Senate Meeting dated 24.11.2021.
The directive includes the establishment of the Energy Management Unit within Maltepe University and the appointment of Energy Managers, aimed at organizing energy management practices, promoting efficient and effective use of energy, preventing energy waste, reducing the burden of energy costs on the institution's budget, and increasing efficiency in energy use for environmental protection.

B - Under the University Action Plan, the "Center for Environmental and Energy Technologies Application and Research" continues its activities on key topics such as climate change and energy.
