As part of the efforts to raise awareness in the fight against Climate Change, the report titled “Climate Change in the World and Turkey” was published by the Environmental and Energy Technologies Application and Research Center (ÇEVENTAM) in September 2022, authored by Dr. Gamze Gürsu and Prof. Dr. Nevin Taşaltın.
Within the scope of this study, topics related to anthropogenic climate change, such as global warming, climate change in the world and Turkey, Turkey's stance on international climate change commitments, and the management of waste, wastewater, and air quality in Turkey were reported.

The flora of Maltepe University has been studied by ÇEVENTAM. The focus of the research is on higher plant species. As a result of the study, 66 different species of higher plants, including perennial and biennial species, as well as fruit trees, were identified in the Maltepe University flora.
