Asst. Prof. Dr. Mert Tolon, Coordinator of Maltepe University Sustainability Office, participated in the AI for Climate Action Summit held at the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art. This summit was an important platform that addressed the potential of artificial intelligence in the field of sustainability and its ability to provide solutions to the climate crisis. In this sense, as Maltepe University, we aim to undertake more responsibility in terms of academic knowledge production, industrial collaborations and increasing public awareness on the axis of artificial intelligence and sustainability in order to strengthen the areas where it can play an active role in national and international arenas in sustainability issues. As Maltepe University, we continue our work as the Sustainability Office with the aim of developing scientific and technological solutions for a sustainable future.
