MISSION
To train individuals with a conscious, critical perspective on social issues, who are researchers and adhere to ethical values, and to enhance social life by analyzing, evaluating, and proposing solutions to societal problems, thereby playing an active role in shaping the future. To increase the importance of sociology education, raise awareness about the relationship between sociology and other disciplines and professional fields, promote awareness of the value of cultural differences and social behavioral diversity that form the foundation of society, support the functionality of domestic and international student and faculty exchange programs, encourage students in their academic careers, and guide them toward diverse career opportunities.
VISION
To graduate students with up-to-date theoretical knowledge and research experience at both national and international levels, who are equipped to research, understand, and contribute to the development of the social world.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The aim of the Sociology undergraduate program is to train individuals with a conscious, critical perspective on social issues, who are researchers and adhere to ethical values, and who contribute to the development of social life by analyzing, evaluating, and proposing solutions to societal problems, thereby playing an active role in shaping the future. The program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to work in universities, research and educational centers, healthcare, education, law, security, and both the public and private sectors.
