MISSION

To provide psychology education that integrates scientific methods and principles with values such as ethical principles, human rights, objectivity, and social and cultural sensitivity;

To ensure that students are trained as both scientists who generate knowledge in the field of psychology and practitioners who can apply this knowledge in real-life settings;

To provide education that produces psychologists who possess a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge and applications in psychology and its subfields, who can follow and contribute to developments in the field, evaluate individual and societal problems with a broad and objective perspective, and develop original solutions to these problems, all while adhering to professional ethical principles.

VISION

To create an understanding that integrates scientific methods and principles with values such as ethical principles, human rights, objectivity, and social and cultural sensitivity;

To maintain and enhance the respected position of the Department of Psychology in both domestic and international academic communities through education, research, and practice.

AIMS

The aim of the undergraduate psychology program is to train graduates who possess comprehensive knowledge of the basic principles, theories, scientific methods, and techniques of psychology and its various subfields, who demonstrate scientific and critical thinking skills, who uphold professional and scientific ethical principles, and who can offer interdisciplinary solutions to individual and societal issues. Furthermore, it aims to equip these graduates with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work in universities, research and educational centers, healthcare, education, law, security, and both public and private sectors.
