About the Faculty

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which continually renews itself by taking into account contemporary needs, operates with the belief that human beings give meaning to culture and the world in the way we know. Since the 1997-1998 academic year, our Faculty has contributed to the discipline both nationally and internationally, and with its distinguished faculty, prioritizes the unity of theory, research, and practice in education and public service.

Our Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences does not limit its educational activities to just its own students; it is also committed to a "collaborative ethics" with other faculties, institutes, research and application centers. Through its research on public matters, the Faculty has also created an impact. Sharing its experiences with international knowledge communities, public institutions, local governments, civil society organizations, educational institutions at various levels, and the private sector, the Faculty is highly sensitive to the needs and future requirements of its students while introducing them to the world of knowledge and business.

In the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, student clubs and communities (which are recognized as university NGOs within the scope of the Bologna Process) hold significant importance. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of national and international scientific and social activities.

Our Faculty, which continuously develops international collaborations and broadens students' horizons through Erasmus and Farabi exchange programs (as well as inter-faculty and inter-departmental double major and minor programs), is committed to protecting and enhancing students' right to education at the highest level. It trains educated, qualified graduates who are sought after in the real world. The Faculty takes great pride in its graduates and works to maintain strong communication channels with them.
