Preschool Education Programme

In some advanced countries around the world, the participation rate in early childhood education has reached 100%. In Turkey, one of the significant developments in education in recent years has been the increase in participation rates in early childhood education.

The period from 0 to 6 years old is considered the most crucial stage in life, where fundamental development occurs in early childhood education. Children initially acquire basic habits in the family environment and often find opportunities to be in a rich learning environment with their peers when they start preschool education around the age of 3.

The teacher who welcomes children entering preschool education plays a crucial role. They approach the acquisition of knowledge and skills by children within a developmental framework and are one of the most important individuals for children in this age group, creating an environment and implementing activities.

In line with this, the education we aim to provide in the Early Childhood Education Department focuses on training teachers who are well-informed and up-to-date in this field, knowledgeable about child development and effective methods and techniques for learning, enjoy working with children, and are capable of learning from children as much as they teach them.

The goal of the program we plan to implement is to train qualified professionals who can generate and impart knowledge in the field of early childhood education, an area that parents in Turkey increasingly value, deem necessary, and want to contribute to. We aim to meet the growing demand for teachers by producing graduates who are familiar with the field of early childhood education, capable of contributing to it, knowledgeable, confident educators with a motivation for learning and teaching, able to collaborate, share their knowledge, enjoy working with children, have strong communication skills, and aim for lifelong learning. Additionally, we aim to meet a significant need in this field by training professionals who play a role in children's first school experiences.

Our graduates can work as 'Preschool Education Teachers' in private or government-affiliated educational institutions and can also take on managerial positions in preschool education institutions. Furthermore, our graduates can pursue postgraduate studies and become faculty members at various universities.
