Profile of the Programme

The objective of the undergraduate programme in the Faculty of Medicine is to train qualified physicians who adopt ethical values and legal rules; approach matters with an inquiring and questioning mind; can explain physiopathogenesis of diseases as well as their clinical and diagnostic features; can apply basic medical approaches for diagnosis and treatment; are aware of health problems in our country and region and equipped with sufficient knowledge, skills and attitude to cope with them at the early stage; adopt a life-long education policy; know how to access information and are able to apply the acquired knowledge; have the knowledge and skills to solve the health problems related to the individuals, society and environment; are sensitive to the community's health-related education; are aware of their authority and responsibilities defined by the Health Law.
