About The Faculty

In a magnificent campus environment, with our competitive and continuously innovative educational model, and our qualified teaching staff who teach how to learn and conduct advanced scientific research, we carry out our educational activities with the mission of contributing to the development of our country by training engineers who meet the needs of the times.

With the vision of further developing the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and positioning it as a leading faculty in the fields of engineering and basic sciences in our region, we aim to ensure that our graduates become sought-after engineers in the production and service sectors, equipped with professional skills, scientific knowledge, international cultural awareness, and ethical values, while respecting human rights.

The academic programs of the departments in our faculty—Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Software Engineering—have been carefully designed, balancing basic sciences and technical sciences, and adhering to both national and international academic evaluation standards. Nearly all theoretical courses are supported by practical or laboratory work, ensuring a balance between students’ expectations for their career choices and the essential requirements of the educational programs they follow. The realistic applications and projects included in the curricula are aimed at developing students' analytical and design skills, and providing them with experience related to issues and challenges they are likely to encounter at the start of their professional careers. Special emphasis is placed on the use of modeling and simulation methods during the design, performance measurement, testing, and evaluation stages of projects, with the goal of training engineers who will be capable of contributing to research and development processes in their professional lives.

Our faculty offers successful students the opportunity to pursue a double major across departments and to earn a degree in another field of their choice. The minor programs also allow students to take courses in areas of interest, providing them with the opportunity to develop their education in the direction they desire.

Our faculty is committed to ensuring that engineers are trained as individuals who are aware of the social and economic dimensions of the solutions they create, and who are sensitive to the potential cultural and social consequences of their work. We aim to help our students develop not only their individual abilities, but also their capacity to communicate effectively with their professional community, the society they serve, and, more broadly, the country and the world in which they live. There are ample opportunities for participation in social and cultural activities within the university, and we are continually improving the infrastructure to support these endeavors. If you believe that "I forget by hearing, remember by seeing, and understand by doing," we would be happy to welcome you as candidates for engineering at our university.
