Sociology PhD Program aims at having students from sociology and other social sciences bachelor and master programs and to provide them with advanced theoretical and empirical research and skills and competences by focusing on the analyses of local, glocal and global problems. Armed with this kind of framework, the graduates of the program will be ready to develop policy proposals and ways of implementing them. 

The aim of the Sociology PhD Program is to make the learners gain the skills as doing independent research, commenting by analyzing in a broad, deep and rational view and determining the necessary steps to reach new shynthesis. The PhD thesis must meet one of the three qualifications which are bringing innovations in science, developing a new scientific method and application of a known method to a new field.

PhD graduates, in addition, will gain the skills to present their scientific research in national and international platforms, both in writing and orally.
