As SOYAÇ, at the end of a meaningful journey that lasted 14 years, we successfully held our “SOYAÇ 14th Year Documentary Special Screening and Symposium” event. The event was held on October 10, 2023 at Maltepe University Faculty of Communication. The program started with the screening of the documentary “Hands Reaching for the Sun”. This documentary reflected SOYAÇ's 14 years of work and the experiences gained in this process in an impressive way. Following the documentary screening, a symposium was organized to discuss SOYAÇ's long journey and the achievements of university-community cooperation. At the symposium, students and volunteers who took part in past SOYAÇ activities took part as speakers. In addition, academics and student volunteers who took part in SOYAÇ shared their experiences.
