FIRST SECTION
Purpose, Scope, Basis, and Definitions
Purpose
ARTICLE 1 - The purpose of this Regulation is to establish the procedures and principles regarding the objectives, fields of activity, administrative organs, duties of administrative organs, and working methods of the Maltepe University Center for Street Living and Working Children Research and Implementation, established under Maltepe University.
Scope
ARTICLE 2 - This Regulation covers the provisions regarding the objectives, administrative organs, duties of administrative organs, and working methods of the Maltepe University Center for Street Living and Working Children Research and Implementation.
Basis
ARTICLE 3 - This Regulation has been prepared based on sub-clause (2) of clause (d) of the first paragraph of Article 7 and Article 14 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 dated 4/11/1981.
Definitions
ARTICLE 4 - (1) In this Regulation:
a) Advisory Board: Refers to the Center's Advisory Board
b) Center: Refers to Maltepe University Center for Street Living and Working Children Research and Implementation
c) Director: Refers to the Center's Director
d) Board of Trustees: Refers to Maltepe University Board of Trustees
e) Project groups: Refers to the Center's project groups
f) Rector: Refers to the Rector of Maltepe University
g) University: Refers to Maltepe University
h) Executive Board: Refers to the Center's Executive Board
SECOND SECTION
Center's Objectives and Fields of Activity
Center's objectives:
ARTICLE 5 - (1) The objectives of the Center are:

Center's fields of activity
ARTICLE 6 - The Center conducts activities in the following areas to achieve its objectives stated in Article 5:

ARTICLE 7 - The Center's administrative organs are:
- Director
- Executive Board

FOURTH SECTION
Miscellaneous and Final Provisions
Center's revenues:
ARTICLE 15 - (1) The Center's revenues consist of:
- Income from seminars, conferences, and similar meetings
- Income from audiovisual publications
- Donations and aid
- Allocations from the University budget
- Other revenues
Personnel needs:
ARTICLE 16 - The Center's academic, technical, and administrative personnel needs are met by staff appointed by the Rector upon the Director's recommendation, in accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 2547.
Enforcement
ARTICLE 17 - This Regulation enters into force on the date of its publication.
Execution
ARTICLE 18 - The Rector of Maltepe University executes the provisions of this Regulation.
