On May 13, 2025, Prof. Dr. Gökçesu Akşit Dudaklı, Director of the Maltepe University Center for Research and Practice on Street-Involved Children (SOYAÇ), met with students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology.
During the classroom visit, brief information was shared about SOYAÇ’s rights-based research and practice activities conducted with children. In addition, SOYAÇ brochures were distributed to students interested in participating in the center’s volunteer-based activities.
The event provided students with the opportunity to ask questions directly about the volunteer process and to gain insight into the center’s field-based work.
