For example, the unauthorized sharing of a book, music or film work, or video game has become significantly easier and more prevalent with the expansion of the internet. Similarly, trademark infringements have become possible with just a few clicks, thanks to the convenience provided by the online environment.
The Digital Rights Management and Copyright Law Research Group will examine topics related to digital rights, including the management of rights existing in the virtual environment, how they should be protected, and the available remedies in case of infringement.
