Piano, Harp and Guitar Major

The piano is one of the most important instruments in classical music, capable of producing the sounds and tones of all orchestral instruments. Piano education, which begins at a young age, has positive effects on children's brain development and creativity. Throughout history, many composers have created solo, orchestral, and chamber music works for the piano. Compared to other instruments, the piano has a very wide range of pitches and allows for polyphony.

At Maltepe University Conservatory, children have the opportunity to start piano education at an early age, with the expectation that they will step into professionalism during their university years. Upon completing their undergraduate education, students will have the opportunity to continue their careers either as performers or as academics.
