Purpose and Vision

MISSION

Drawing inspiration from Atatürk’s emphasis on the vital role of art in the development of a contemporary society, our Conservatory—one of the most distinguished institutions of our University—has undertaken an intensive and dedicated preparation to educate musicians who will represent our country on international platforms. With the awareness that success is achieved through students trained by experienced faculty members with a high level of stage and performance expertise, our academic staff has been strengthened by the most esteemed educators from both Turkey and abroad. Our foremost objective is to embrace continuous change and development through programs that are regularly updated in line with the requirements of our era and the expectations of our students.

VISION

In addition to the main art disciplines integrated into our programs, one of our primary goals is to establish departments of Musicology and Ethnomusicology. We conduct our educational and training activities with the aim of enhancing our students’ employability after graduation by providing industry connections during the undergraduate period and fostering collaborations built upon these connections. Expanding our artistic collaborations on an international scale and becoming an institution of choice are also among our key objectives.
