Honor Award Presented to Renowned Composer and Assistant Prof. Dr. Turgay Erdener at the 54th Istanbul Music Festival

The conferment of the Honor Award to our esteemed composer and professor, Dr. Turgay Erdener, within the scope of the 54th Istanbul Music Festival has been a source of great pride and satisfaction for our University.

Our professor, whose works bring together tradition and contemporary musical understanding in a unique aesthetic language, continues to illuminate the world of music through his artistic production, compositional approach, and the students he has nurtured, conveying the sounds of our land to the global music repertoire with universal sensitivity.

The Honor Award will be presented during a ceremony held prior to the festival’s opening concert.
