Department of International Trade and Logistics (English) With the increase of international economic relations in today's world, international trade and logistics have become the most critical building blocks of the global system. Our Department of International Trade and Logistics (English), which aims to train qualified professionals who have a say in this strategic field, offers a strong undergraduate education supported by multidimensional, applied and international accreditations to its students. Our program offers an integrated educational process to students by combining the theoretical infrastructure covering all stages of the supply chain, ranging from production to consumption, with practical training. Our students gain competence in many fields from import and export processes to customs procedures, transportation to inventory management, foreign trade legislation to logistics optimization. Our Educational Approach The English Language International Trade and Logistics Program accepts students with Equal Weight (EA) score type and the language of education is completely English. Thus, students will have language proficiency and an international perspective that can play an effective role in global trading systems. Development of students, Commercial law, Business management, International economics, Accounting-finance, It is supported by rich course content in areas such as marketing. In this way, students grow up as graduates who are not only specialists in the field, but also able to think in many directions and have high strategic decision-making skills. Compulsory Internships and 7+1 Workplace Application Our program attaches importance to students to develop their professional skills by experiencing the theoretical knowledge they have received at school in business life. For this reason, our training program includes two separate mandatory internship processes that must be carried out for 20 days in both international trade and logistics. Besides that, 4. the 7+ 1 Workplace Application model, which is applied in the classroom if the students' demand and sufficient conditions are met, allows students to gain professional experience before graduation by spending their final semesters directly in the business world. This application: Facilitates employment after graduation, Clarifies career goals, It accelerates the adaptation process to business life. International Accreditation and Quality Assurance Our Department; It is accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). FIBAA accreditation means that international standards are met in terms of quality, timeliness and application-oriented education. In addition, our department has been included in the scope of the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF), which is compatible with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). These document that our department trains professionals with internationally recognized qualifications. Minor, Double Major and Erasmus Opportunities Our department offers academic options for its students to deepen their own interests: Successful students can plan a multidisciplinary career after graduation by doing a Minor or Double Major with other appropriate programs of our university. In addition, our department, which has bilateral agreements with elite universities in Europe, also offers students the opportunity to study under the Erasmus+ student exchange program. Our students who provide the appropriate conditions, although they wish, spend part of their studies at one of the universities we have an agreement with in Europe: Getting to know different academic cultures, Learning new languages, They will have the opportunity to stand out in the global labor market.
