About the Program

Department of International Trade and Logistics (English), established in the 2009-2010 academic year within the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, offers education in English.

The Department of International Trade and Logistics (English) aims to train future managers who possess strong knowledge of international trade and well-planned logistics process management. These individuals will be equipped with the fundamental principles, strategies, functions, and techniques of international trade and logistics management, as well as analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. They will be capable of integrating theory with practice and approaching events and problems from a systems perspective and supply chain management viewpoint.

Given its interdisciplinary nature, this program requires collaboration across various scientific fields. The curriculum consists of compulsory courses, elective courses within the field, and university electives. In addition to professional courses such as Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, International Trade, Economic Geography, and Production and Inventory Planning, students also take various courses from the Departments of Economics, Business Administration, Law, and Engineering. Furthermore, students are supported through professional English courses, internships, research projects, seminars, symposiums,  and congresses.

To train graduates who can work in various institutions, especially trade and logistics enterprises, produce solutions with a supply chain-focused, interdisciplinary, and global perspective, are inclined to teamwork, have internalized social and ethical values, and are knowledgeable, contemporary, free-thinking, and entrepreneurial.

To become a leading and pioneering department that is the most recognized and preferred in the field of international trade and logistics by conducting research, projects, and publications that guide the sector, and by training entrepreneurial and successful graduates equipped with contemporary knowledge and necessary theoretical and practical skills.
