About the Programme

Our age is in a fast change, new needs emerge continuously and due to these needs the world of living is restructured. Fast change leads to insufficiency in seeing the philosophical background of newly emerging needs and to inadequacy in understanding and in evaluation the bonds of practical utility with the culture of philosophy. In fact, the precondition of determination of the direction of change is the proper use of the power of reason that would be able to rebuild newly emerging contexts of needs with respect to human and societies as a guide. Departing from these, instead of simply tracing the change, being the leader of the change is again possible through the proper use of reason. Through a different exposition, the new situations that can emerge in the relations among human – human, human – society and human – public relations, briefly in the relation among human – world – knowledge can only be understood with the help of the theoretical analysis of proper guides. For this reason, philosophical thinking and the activity of philosophizing that is always the guiding spirit and is capable of guiding, at the very time, becomes inevitably more important. Thus, education of philosophy can be the driving power for the raise of individuals those that would serve for the society, public life, briefly for the humanity in order to form ‘’a humanly world’’ and maintain it.
