About the Programme

The Public Relations and Publicity Program, which aims to turn theoretical knowledge into practical experiences, prepares students for the future with its educational staff with expert and industry experience. The program is organized in a sufficient manner to contribute to the human resource needs in the fields of Public Relations and Advertising to train the wanted communicators of the business world. In this context, our advisory boards include senior executives of the leading brands of the sector. Within the framework of the importance given to academia and industry cooperation, our students are gained work experience and joint academic publications are made with industry managers. Communicators who think, learn, apply and thus achieve success are preferred by the education they receive in our era, where the traditional business approach has changed and new customer-oriented trends are at the center.

Public Relations and Publicity Program associate degree education aims both to provide administrative skills and to train specialists in vocational training.

The program consists of main courses such as public relations, corporate communication, brand management, advertising, marketing, social responsibility, as well as elective courses related to business administration and social sciences, and culture, arts and science courses.

In the application process of the program, bilateral participation of students in education such as campaign preparation, media planning, advertising production and management, copywriting, marketing and communication skills is provided through theoretical knowledge-based practice lessons.

The aim of Maltepe University Vocational School Public Relations and Publicity Program is to educate individuals who are qualified in the light of scientific methods, equipped with professional knowledge, can carry responsibilities, easily find solutions to problems, have full confidence, have business ethics, are open to changes and developments, and are trained in the quality required by the industry and society.

To provide appropriate learning environment in order to raise individuals who can contribute to universal knowledge and culture in line with the needs of the age and with social responsibility awareness, to gain creative and innovative perspectives that can be a solution partner to the needs of the sector, to train specialists in the field of Public Relations and Advertising.

Our students can do internships at corporate companies, public relations and advertising agencies, media organizations, private institutions such as airports and public institutions. Many of our students have received job offers from their institutions.

Where Can I Work After Graduation?

Our students will have the opportunity to work in public relations and publicity units of public institutions and organizations, private companies, non-governmental organizations, corporate communication departments, press and public relations offices, advertising, marketing and sales departments after graduation.
