Great Success of our students of the Department of Nautical Design

A tradition of success and awards! 

The “13th National Ship and Yacht Design Competition” organized annually by the Ship Yacht and Services Exporters' Association has been concluded. In the competition themed “Fishing Vessel Design”, our student Nurseli Bayram and YTU students Furkan Arıkan and Ramazan Toprak were awarded the first prize with their project named “Freyr”, while Yunus Emre Şenyurt, a graduate of our Nautical Design department, and YTU graduates Mert Demirkoparan and Ali Fuat Bayram came third with their project named “Samandağ”. Sevcan Nur Karabıyık, also a graduate of our Nautical Design department, and YTÜ graduates Berat Yağmur, Asena Çataloluk, Meliha Nida Güler received the "Türk Loydu" Special Award for their project named “Dalay”.

The competition, which has now become a tradition, has turned into a tradition of success and awards for our students and graduates. We congratulate our students and thank all our professors who had a share in this success.
