1- Department of Naval and Nautical Design

The Department of Naval and Nautical Design, established in 2009, is the first undergraduate program in its field in Turkey and in the world.

The yacht construction sector in the world, with its ever-expanding structure, is engaged in large-scale research-development and investment activities, and these developments provide significant prestige gains for countries, as well as high added value to the economy of maritime countries. The prominent feature of Naval and Nautical Design is that it is a maritime program.

As such, it is a natural member of the same family as all maritime programs, both civilian and military, considering their common fields of study. The field of study and activity of the program, in which engineering knowledge is given at an elementary level, covers all marine vessels where styling and interior design play leading roles, in addition to ships and yachts.
