Dear Students,

Welcome to the Department of Business Administration (EN) at Maltepe University.

Our department commenced its educational activities in the 2023-2024 academic year with the mission of educating well-equipped, versatile individuals capable of competing on a global scale. Guided by the vision of being “Free in Thought, Contemporary in Education, and Universal in Science,” our program aims not only to provide students with a solid foundation in business administration but also to cultivate sensitivity to contemporary themes such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and social responsibility.

In addition to courses taught entirely in English, our program offers a four-tiered, comprehensive language instruction model designed to enhance students’ academic writing, critical reading, and professional communication skills. With a broad selection of elective courses, students have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as marketing, finance, human resources, and leadership. Practice-oriented courses, fieldwork, and a two-semester mandatory internship requirement ensure that theoretical knowledge is integrated with real-world application.

Through close collaborations with the business world, as well as sectoral seminars, conferences, and technical visits, our students gain exposure to current industry dynamics and have opportunities to establish professional networks. Furthermore, the Double Major and Minor Programs offered across the university promote interdisciplinary learning, while the Erasmus+ student exchange program allows students to gain international academic experience and develop a global perspective.

With the support and guidance of our qualified and experienced academic staff, we are committed to educating analytical individuals equipped with advanced research and problem-solving abilities, as well as a strong sense of social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Our graduates go on to pursue careers in both the public and private sectors at national and international levels, or launch their own ventures using the entrepreneurial competencies they have acquired.
