About The Program
About the Program
Business Administration (EN) Undergraduate Program at Maltepe University commenced its educational activities in the 2023-2024 academic year. Built upon the university’s longstanding tradition of excellence in business education, the program is designed to educate globally competent professionals through an interdisciplinary approach and a continuously updated curriculum that reflects the changing demands of the global business environment.

In addition to core subjects such as management, marketing, accounting, finance, operations, and human resources, the curriculum offers a wide range of elective courses focusing on current and emerging issues such as sustainability, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.

3. Practice-Oriented Learning with Dual Internships
Students complete two compulsory internships during the 7th and 8th semesters, providing early exposure to the labor market. Additionally, applied courses such as Operations Research and Production and Inventory Management offer opportunities to work on real-world business problems.
4. Research-Oriented Curriculum
Starting in the 4th semester with the Research Methods course, students develop their research and analytical thinking abilities, which culminate in a two-semester graduation projects (Graduation Project I-II) during the final year. This process strengthens students' academic writing, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
5. Early Career Planning Focus
Unlike many programs where career planning is postponed until the final year, this program offers a compulsory Career Planning course in the second semester of the first year. This approach helps students shape their academic journey with greater awareness of their future career goals.
