Maltepe University (MU) is aware that in order to grow and progress on an international platform, it is essential to be in harmony with individuals, institutions, cultures, and all societies around the world. In this respect, "internationalization" at our university is seen as a significant step towards facilitating easily transferable studies in research, education, and technology.
The long-term goals of MU regarding internationalization and the roadmap for achieving these goals are as follows:
· Ensuring the international recognition and validity of programs offered by MU,
· Increasing international participation in the courses and programs offered by MU,
· Enhancing student exchange between MU and universities abroad,
· Increasing international academic and professional activities,
· Raising the level of intercultural awareness.
In line with these goals, the International Relations Office was established in 2004 to respond to the rapid development and intensification of MU’s international academic relations and to earn a reputable place for MU by collaborating with distinguished international institutions and organizations.
Maltepe University creates new international opportunities for all stakeholders by establishing connections with prestigious universities abroad that facilitate student and faculty exchange, as well as collaborative research and scientific studies.
