Established in 1999, Maltepe University Institute of Science, Institute of Social Sciences, and Institute of Health Sciences were closed with the Presidential Decree No. 2036, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 08.01.2020 and numbered 31002, and Maltepe University Institute of Graduate School was established.

The Institute of Graduate School conducts a total of 95 education programs with 80 Master's Programs, 12 Doctorate Programs and 2 Proficiency in Art Programs within 32 Social, Science and Health Departments and 3 Art Major Departments.

Maltepe University, which sets out with the goal of becoming “A World University”, offers students the opportunity to advance their careers in their chosen field by increasing their skills, to contribute to all kinds of science and art fields of our country with their studies, to enrich their intellectual power and to acquire a wide range of competence, competence, knowledge and skills.

Maltepe University Graduate Programs mainly include elective courses, allowing students to determine their own specialization and career goals by taking courses both from their own program and from different programs. Courses and their content are updated to keep pace with both the needs of society and technological innovations. In doing so, student opinions and suggestions are taken into consideration through student interviews. In addition, our Graduate School offers its students the opportunity to study abroad for one semester with ERASMUS+ exchange agreements offered in graduate programs. Students who meet the requirements of our Institute can continue their career plans abroad while registering the international validity of their diplomas in line with international certificate agreements.

Graduate education is carried out in the Marmara Education Village, which is the Central Campus of the University, thus ensuring that graduate students can fully benefit from the campus environment, library services and all educational infrastructure facilities. Our Graduate School aims to provide opportunities for students of all ages by carrying all postgraduate education and training activities out of working hours so as not to interfere with the professional lives of its students.
