Prof. Dr. David HERPOELAERT iki günlük bir eğitim vermiştir. ERASMUS Programı ile İstanbul’a gelen Herpoelaert halen Belçika’da Karel de Grote Hogeschool’da görev yapmaktadır.
Kendisi aynı zamanda bir psikanalist olan Prof David Herpoelaert SOYAÇ’ın çalışmalarına da katılarak 26 -27 Nisan 2012 tarihlerinde aşağıdaki konularda eğitim vermiştir.

Introduction to a crisis intervention technique: LSCI
Managing conflict constructivly and developing conflict resolution knowledge encourages the development of values, attitudes, knowledge, and civic standards. In this workshop Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) will be introduced. LSCI is a therapeutical and verbal strategie, intervening with children and youngsters in crisis.

Working with metaphors
During therapeutic sessions psychologists have to integrate different skills: on have to listen beyond the things that are heared, we have to question the stories of our clients and we have to formulate hypothesis. In this workshop we will pull apart these different roles in order to practice these different skills. We will question and interpret metaphors because traumatized children process the real in play and drawings.
