Two senior students from Maltepe University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences participated in the OBSS Turkey Project Development Internship in 2018 in İstanbul.

Barış Aytekin received the first prize with his Project entitled “Human Resources Management”. As part of his award, he attended the JavaOne, renamed Oracle Code, Conference held in San Francisco during October 22-25, 2018. In this renowned conference on Java Programming, Barış had an opportunity to find out new advancements in programming and connected with a number of software development companies attending the event. Barış said “During my internship at OBSS, I had the opportunity to design a Project and develop it from scratch to completion while learning about new structures and programming technologies. The experience I gained during this time facing new challenges and solving them was invaluable. The conference held in San Francisco was also a great experience. I had a chance to find out information about new technology trends in programming and develop myself”.

Berk Can Güney did his internship at OBSS Java Summer School as well developing small projects using Java and ReactJS. During the last two weeks of his internship, Berk developed a Library Project utilizing these two technologies and rewarded the first prize.
